Scarab Studio

Scarab Studio started with the successful implementation and execution of a month long public art intervention in Brunswick Street, Fitzroy. We hung a data projector in a plastic cat box from the eave of an upstairs window and had it spit video art, poetry, photography, illustration and painting onto a giant wall, creating a crack in the suburbs commercial urban fabric.

 

Scarab Studio is now an exciting emergent Australian production company and successful maker of broadcast and web documentaries and short films. We work in Richmond, Victoria with lots of indoor plants.
